Chakradance is a practice that like yoga you can come back to again and again and always go deeper. The urge and need to dance goes back to our primal selves and when we listen to it we begin to heal (making whole) because we are finally allowing ourselves what we need... attention, nurturing, expression... the list goes on.

On Sunday we had an extraordinary experience of our 'ordinary' selves in a circle of support and nurture... it was amazing

Our Chakradance workshop celebrating LIFE, on Sunday, was a perfect way to begin to slow-down and blend with the rhythms of Autumn and reconnect with the wholeness that we each are - this can sometimes be overlooked in the busy-ness of life ... when we make time to reconnect and remind ourselves of just who we are there are countless gifts and blessings we can draw from this. Thank you to all the wonderful dancers who attended, it was a delight to dance with you, and the atmosphere of harmony and nurturing that resulted was amazing 

The weather conspired to be just perfect for our one day retreat with Anne-Marie Hoyne and Helen Ferrara. Thank you to all the lovely ladies who attended it was an honour to spend the day with you witnessing the unfolding of your creativity

In the crisp stillness of Winter

As you dance care and stress melt away and you reconnect with the wholeness within you... there is an overwhelming feeling of freedom and of coming home, and you recognise that your authentic self has always been there waiting for you...

Danced this workshop on Saturday in a fabulous new venue with a wonderful group of ladies, the energy felt very powerful and delivered all of the magic it promised - thank you for sharing this first time in the new studio.

After dancing yesterday with an amazingly powerful group of women I feel I have started on a new journey, one that unfolds gently with wonderful surprises at every turn...

Like the petals of a Spring flower blossoming...unfurl as you dance and welcome the light...

As the seasons turn you are called by name...you are called to be true to yourself and blossom

 by becoming more and more you... 

 Come and look in the deep mirror within that is revealed as you dance...see your true colours

 reflected in marvellous hues...delight in who you are and who you are becoming...

 Softly...gently...whispers rise from your heart...

 Love and blessings enfold you...as you dance...

There was a strong clear energy in the workshop yesterday, thanks to the beautiful group that gathered together, that was a delight to dance in - it felt like being caught in the gentlest of rain and by the end I felt rejuvenated and freshly new...

It is blessed to spend time in a garden, any garden. Whenever I do I find myself rejuvenated by the deep connection to life evident in all the tiny details I gain through my senses - the scent of flowers and herbs, the nuances of colours and contrasts of all the different greens, the vitality and optimism of the new growth, and so much more ... It is afternoon now, and the rain has just finished washing the whole day clean, so you can clearly hear the whispers of promises of ordinary magic. All that is needed for their fulfilment is now to allow, to trust, and some time ...  

As the programme says this show tells the "tale of the workings of the human mind, where various imaginary character roles are played out in a person's imagination, presented as action, sound, colour, dialogue and song", and after journeying through Josef's story "ends with encouraging the audience to seek their own inner uniqueness and to express it to the world."

The simplicity of this tale makes it very accessible and it is easy to see how it mirrors the reality of a 'modern life-style'. It is then what your own mind adds to it, in the silence between the elements of performance, which leads one to reflect deeply and find both compassion and hope in our current 'human condition'.

I enjoyed it hugely and would recommend it to anyone wanting to see something a little different.
