Bed Yoga

I have spent much of August with little energy after having had a rather longish stint of the seasonal flu, but one thing that has helped me along has been 'bed yoga'. I first heard about it in November 2009 when I read an article on it written by Rudran Brannock in Living Now. Basically it involves turning a morning stretch into a 'yoga' session, but one that is entirely guided by your body rather than any 'thoughts' on what movements you 'should' make. It is close to the instinctual movements that you might see cats and dogs making after they have been sleeping, or after they have been in the one spot for a while. If you want to read the whole article you can find it at:

And after that don't hesitate to get into it and enjoy - it is delicious!

Sydney!

The book launch was for Women of the Wise Earth: Celebrating the Rainbow Symphony. I have been honoured to be one of the 33 women to share their spirit within these pages - a kaleidoscope of thoughts, stories and poems interwoven with images from 7 sacred natural locations. It has been a magical journey and it is still unfolding ... I invite you to explore the website if you feel drawn to, at: www.WomenOfTheWiseEarth.com

The launch took place at Narrabeen in Sydney's northern beaches; I left just after sunset having enjoyed the beauty of its reflection on the waters of Narrabeen lake.

Off to Sydney this weekend for a book launch and to catch up with some beautiful people.

More details on this when I get back.
